Pre-Wash Preparation

Pre-Treat Heavy Mud: If the cap is caked in field mud, gently rinse the exterior under cool, running tap water or use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface debris before washing.
Wash Separately: Wash alone or place inside a mesh laundry bag. Avoid laundering alongside heavy items with exposed Velcro, hooks, or rough fabrics like denim, which can snag the delicate rear mesh.

Washing Instructions
Primary Recommendation: Hand washing is highly recommended to permanently preserve the custom shape of the molded front panels. Soak the cap in a basin of cool water with a mild liquid detergent, gently massage the sweatband, and rinse thoroughly with clean, cold water.
Machine Wash Alternative: If machine washing, use cold water only (maximum 30°C / 86°F) on a gentle or delicate cycle with a low spin speed.
Strict Chemical Restrictions:
No Chlorine Bleach: Completely forbidden, as it will break down the synthetic mesh fibers and discolor the solid black panels.
No Fabric Softeners: Forbidden. Softeners leave a waxy film that clogs the anti-microbial interior sweatband, ruining its moisture-wicking and odor-blocking abilities.

Drying & Storage Instructions
Primary Recommendation: Air dry only. Reshape the cap while damp—ideally placing it over a round object like a hat form, small bowl, or towel—and let it dry in a well-ventilated indoor space out of direct sunlight to prevent UV fading.
Strictly No Tumble Drying: Never place the tactical cap in a machine dryer. High dryer heat will warp the unique flexible molded panels, compromise the elastic adjustment strap, and potentially damage the internal embedded magnets.
Do Not Iron or Dry Clean: Industrial heat and dry-cleaning solvents will permanently destroy the technical front panels and interior sweatband treatments.
